1. Item Limitations

Consignors may bring up to 15 clothing articles per visit.

Purses, jewelry, and accessories may be consigned without limit. (Costume jewelry only is preferred.)

All clothing must be brought in on hangers and presented in clean, ready-to-wear condition.

Items must be seasonally appropriate.

Merchandise with odors (e.g., tobacco, mothballs), stains, visible wear and tear, wrinkles, or pilling will not be accepted.

Please check underarms for deodorant stains and ensure items are free of animal hair.

2. Style Requirements

What We Accept

  • Only current styles will be accepted
  • Designer and brand-name clothing
  • Gently used or new with tags
  • Clean, pressed, and odor-free
  • No stains, tears, or missing buttons
  • Professional and casual wear

What We Don't Accept

  • Suits are not accepted under any circumstances
  • Outdated or vintage items
  • Damaged or stained clothing
  • Fast fashion or low-quality items
  • Items with strong odors
  • Underwear or swimwear

3. Pricing & Payments

Look Twice controls all pricing decisions

  • Pricing, markdowns, and promotions are determined solely by Look Twice
  • Items may be subject to discounts, markdowns, or inclusion in sales events to encourage sell-through
  • We set competitive prices to maximize sales

Payment Schedule

Payments are issued by check every 60–90 days

Minimum $15 sales total required for payment

Checks are only issued for sold items

We value our consignors and strive to process payments promptly. If you do not receive a check within 60 days, please contact us.

4. Consignment Splits & Payment

Standard Consignment Split

50/50

Equal split between consignor and Look Twice

  • Applies to all regular merchandise
  • Consignor receives 50% of the final sale price
  • Look Twice retains 50% for handling and retail services

Designer Merchandise Split

70/30

Consignor receives 70%, Look Twice retains 30%

  • Applies to designer and high-end merchandise
  • Consignor receives 70% of the final sale price
  • Look Twice retains 30% for handling and retail services

5. Mailing Consignments

Mail-In Consignments

Consignments can be mailed in for your convenience.

  • Items must meet all the same quality and style requirements
  • Please package items carefully to prevent damage during shipping
  • Include your contact information and any special instructions
  • We will review mailed items and contact you with acceptance status
  • Shipping costs are the responsibility of the consignor

Mailing Tips

  • Use sturdy boxes and protective packaging
  • Include a detailed list of items being consigned
  • Ensure items are clean and properly folded
  • Consider using tracking for valuable items

6. Merchandise Returns & Liability

Item Returns

Consigned merchandise is not automatically returned. If you would like unsold items back, please contact us at least two weeks in advance so they can be prepared for pickup.

Designer items will be returned upon request.

Liability Waiver

  • Look Twice is not responsible for stolen, damaged, fire-affected, or water-damaged items
  • By consigning with Look Twice, you agree to waive all claims against the company for any loss or damage to items
  • We take great care with all consigned merchandise
  • Please understand the risks involved in consignment

7. General Notes

We value our consignors and strive to process payments promptly. If you do not receive a check within 60 days, please contact us.

Please keep in mind that not all items sell immediately, and some may take longer than 30 days to sell.
